FinTech West Conference 2025

On Friday,10th October 2025, Navos exhibited at the FinTech West annual conference as part of BTF+.

Over 200 delegates flocked to We The Curious in Bristol to hear about the thriving Fintech scene in the South West. As a FinTech West partner, we were excited to support the event and hear about the latest innovation in the sector.

It did not disappoint. The day kicked off with an insightful session from Colin Payne, Head of Innovation at the FCA. Their commitment to supporting AI in the industry was very encouraging, with their AI Lab and Sandbox set to springboard more AI projects over the coming months.

The rest of the day was proof of how strong the Fintech community is in the region, with testimonials from local success stories, as well as pitches from new innovative Fintech startups.

AI was a common theme throughout the event, highlighting the importance of this topic in the Financial Services world. However, there were words of caution to have a well thought out AI strategy before jumping in, to get buy in from leadership and the wider business, as well as thinking about how it all fits in with regulation and ultimately what the client wants. Definitely wise things to consider when investing in any AI project, and things we at Navos would also recommend.
